Parent-Friendly Terms, Safety & Consent
Welcome
At Fit Prestige Sports Academy, our goal is to provide a safe, positive, and enjoyable sports experience for every child. These terms explain how our programs work, what families can expect from us, and what we ask from parents and players in return.
By enrolling your child or using our website, you agree to the terms below.
1. Using Our Website
Our website is provided for information, registration, and communication purposes only. All content belongs to Fit Prestige Sports Academy and is for personal use only.
We may update our website or these terms from time to time to improve our services.
2. Registration & Payments
- Payments can be made online using Visa or Mastercard
- Prices shown at checkout are the final amounts charged
- All payments are processed securely
- Any approved refunds will be made to the original payment method
- A payment confirmation email will be sent within 24 hours
3. Membership Eligibility
- Parents or legal guardians must complete registrations for children under 18
- Children may not register or make payments on their own
- By registering, parents confirm that the information provided is accurate
4. Mandatory Administrative Fee (Under 19 Members)
What is the fee?
A one-time seasonal administrative fee of AED 399 applies to all members under 19.
What does it cover?
- Seasonal registration and administration
- Program management costs
- An official academy uniform set (jersey, shorts, and t-shirt)
Important notes:
- The fee is paid once per season
- It must be paid in full for membership to be active
- The fee is non-refundable
- Uniforms are provided within two weeks of payment confirmation
5. Makeup Sessions (Missed Classes)
We understand that children may occasionally miss training.
- Makeup sessions must be requested before attending
- They are offered only in cases of illness or injury, supported by a medical note
- All makeup sessions must be completed within the same term
- Makeup sessions are not available during holiday camps
- Missed makeup sessions cannot be refunded or carried forward
Special situations may be reviewed by management when possible.
6. Code of Conduct
We are committed to a respectful, safe, and encouraging environment.
We ask all players and parents to:
- Treat coaches, staff, and other families with respect
- Follow academy rules and safety instructions
- Support positive sportsmanship at all times
The Academy reserves the right to suspend or refuse service in cases of repeated misconduct or unsafe behavior.
7. Safety & Supervision
- All training sessions are supervised by qualified coaches
- Coaches are trained in basic first aid and child safety procedures
- Coaches are not medical professionals
8. Medical & Emergency Consent
Your child’s safety is our top priority.
By enrolling your child, you agree that:
- Coaches and staff may provide basic first aid only if needed
- Coaches do not provide medical treatment or diagnosis
In the event of an injury or medical concern:
- Parents will be contacted immediately
- If urgent care is required, emergency services (ambulance) will be called
Parents remain responsible for all medical decisions and follow-up care.
This consent allows our team to act quickly and responsibly in an emergency, while ensuring professional medical care is handled by trained medical personnel.
9. Health & Participation Acknowledgment
By registering your child, you confirm that:
- Your child is healthy and physically able to participate
- You understand that sports activities involve normal physical risks
- You accept these risks as part of an active lifestyle
We encourage parents to inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or special considerations that may help us better support their child.
10. Photography & Media
From time to time, we may take photos or videos during training or events for:
- Academy updates
- Social media
- Promotional materials
By enrolling, you allow the Academy to use such images for these purposes. If you have concerns, please contact us in writing.
11. Insurance
If a participant has personal medical insurance, it will be used first in the event of an injury. Any applicable academy coverage may apply afterward, where available.
12. Liability & Release (Plain Language)
While we take every reasonable step to keep children safe, sports naturally involve movement and physical activity.
By enrolling, parents agree:
- To release Fit Prestige Sports Academy and its staff from responsibility for injuries that occur during normal participation
- That the Academy is not responsible for injuries caused by misuse of equipment or failure to follow instructions
This agreement applies to the fullest extent permitted by law.
13. Parent / Guardian Consent for Minors
As a parent or legal guardian, you:
- Approve your child’s participation
- Accept responsibility for your child’s conduct
- Agree to these terms on your child’s behalf
14. Final Note
We believe sports should be fun, safe, and confidence-building. These terms are designed to protect children, families, and the Academy while allowing everyone to enjoy the experience.
